Enecta Bike Tour, 3rd edition is coming back

Enecta has been promoting, for some years now, the relationship between 𝗖𝗕𝗗 and 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 with the objective to increase awareness of the potentialities of this molecule and at the same time to promote a lifestyle linked to psychophysical wellbeing of the individual.

The Enecta Bike Tour is coming back. We are happy to announce  that we are working on 𝗲𝗱𝗶t𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗜𝗜 of the  𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿.

Postponed due to the COVID emergency, we are designing an event that can take place safely,  in order to ensure protection of the participants without losing the essence of the Tour.

Many will be the novelties of this edition, starting with the duration: it will not last a weekend made up of  two stages, but one single stage held on Saturday, 3 October, as per tradition, amidst the beauties in the heart of A𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘇𝘇o, where vehicular traffic is near to zero.

𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮 has been promoting, for some years now, the relationship between 𝗖𝗕𝗗 and 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 with the objective to increase awareness of the potentialities of this molecule and at the same time to promote a lifestyle linked to psychophysical wellbeing of the individual.

The Enecta Bike Tour was created in 2018 and organized by Enecta with the support of the Commune of Castelvecchio Subequo.

Connected to the sporting event, which isn't of the agonistic kind, ancillary events have been organized, with the aim to promote the inner areas of the region, in this case the territory of the Subequana Valley.

Last year, previous to the departure of the ‘green caravan’, a guided visit to the Cannabis fields of Enecta was organized, with the partnership of GreenValley, local project curator, cultivating in the territory.

Thanks to the support and the presence of various experts in the field, the cyclists and the curious had the opportunity to get to know this plant and its manifold properties more closely.

The 2019 edition had 50 participants, coming also from abroad, in particular: Austria, Holland, Slovenia, Russia and India.

Enecta and the protection of the environment

With the Enecta Bike Tour, the company transmits its mission, such as the development of a cultivation model with the aim to create a positive impact on the environment.

The Hemp plants, from which Enecta's CBD is extracted, have beneficial properties in relation to the decontamination of water and soil and the restoration of ecosystems, rural, chemical and nuclear areas.

It can be used as a natural pesticide and is useful to improve the quality of cultivated lands by means of the crop rotation system.

The cultivation model of Enecta, in fact, does not require huge quantities of water, no chemical fertilizers and no pesticides; the energy source used for the crops is the sun.

Enecta researches innovative solutions  in order to reuse disused machinery, for example, from the tobacco and mining industries, and to reduce industrial waste.

Enecta has the ambition to reach the objective of zero waste within 5 years, in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the United Nations' Global Compact.

Enecta and the right to Health

One of the objectives of Enecta is to guarantee “access to essential healthcare services and to essential, secure, effective medical drugs of good quality and with prices accessible to everybody.” 

In 2017, The World Health Organization excluded CBD from the list of controlled substances and considered it suitable for medical use. Several are the clinical studies demonstrating how CBD can be an effective treatment of epilepsy, for example, and of other medical conditions.

CBD, today, is available on the market at very high prices, which limits the possibility of access to therapy, especially for the less affluent citizens.

For this reason Enecta has decided to invest in research and innovation of cannabis cultivation (starting from the seed itself) and processing, in order to create a production model capable of supplying the market with low cost, high quality products accessible to everyone.

In view of the third edition a new and original sports outfit has been created with a reference to the guiding principles of the Company.

The objective is to create an ever-growing community, sensitive to the above mentioned topics, from the right to Health to the protection of the Environment.

The Enecta Bike Tour has the twofold objective to promote sustainable tourism in marginalized communities, as well as to raise the awareness of the inhabitants regarding ‘cannabis’, in areas in which the level of information on the subject is averagely less present.
