"The Balkannabis Expo, well organised in a location with exhibition spaces and three different congress centres, reinforces Enecta's idea that Greece is taking the right path to develop a Cannabis program for medical use that will be among the most advanced in Europe” Jacopo Paolini, Enecta's CSO.
The event took place in Athens last June 1st over seven thousand square meters of exhibition space, hosting the major protagonists of the Cannabis industry in an unprecedented event in the Greek and Balkan markets.
Enecta has launched an investment plan in the Hellenic Cannabis industry:
"Our first objective” – said Marco Cappiello, over the last few days - “is to arrive at a product that was first and foremost destined for the Greek market. Enecta has placed at the centre of its project the principle that everyone should be able to pay for cannabis based treatments, which means a very competitive market price".
Why is Enecta investing in Greece?
The company's objective is to create the best Enecta production site in Europe through the creation of a 100% Greek company, leading to the creation of an economic sector through the enhancement of local skills.
"We have been working for some years on the Greek market, where we have imported our products with enormous success", says Jacopo Paolini, Enecta's CSO.
The first Green House, a greenhouse built according to the most modern technological and environmental standards, has been realised and is already active, which allows to better control the production maximising the yield of the plants.
"We decided to invest in what we strongly believe will be the first company of therapeutic cannabis made up of Greek personnel and for Greek patients."
